FRIDAY, JULY 3, 2009 HOW TO MAKE A BLOG COMMENT

I (Mark) was not sure how to interpret the fact that there has been only one comment posted. A friend contacted me and told of her frustration in trying to do it. It asked that you enter your profile identification. So, I spent a long time last night trying to figure it out...and failed. So, I explained it to Brad this morning, and he set up a guest profile for anyone to use. Here's what you do if you do not have a profile of your own.

* Click on "comments" at the bottom of any post in the blog. It will open a window for you to type in your comment.

* After finishing your comment, make sure you sign your name. Then click on "Choose Profile". "Select Google Account", then click on "Post Comment".

* It will open a window for a word verification. Type it in (you may have to do it twice). This will open a window for a Google account.

* Type in this email address - travisguest@gmail.com and the password gr8guest Click on "Sign In", and it will post your comment.

  1. I hardly know what to type. First of all thank you Mark for posting this blog so that we can stay up to speed on how everything is going in Edmonton. Travis, I can hardly believe you have new lungs. That is amazing. Tim & Brenda are right, you look fabulous. You are truly blessed to have Terri there with you! You are in our prayers. Just the other night at supper Luke prayed that your body wouldn't reject your new lungs and that you'd get better soon. It was the most sincere prayer. Take care of yourself. Karmyn Johnson

  2. I don't know why, but I couldn't use the guest account to post a comment. It just kept telling me the the passoword or account was wrong. I tried it lots and it looked good to me...I don't know.... Anyway, I just created my own google account based on my personal e-mail address and that worked like a charm and was really easy to do.

For Travis, I just want to say that I love you. When Ben was in the hospital I could physically "feel the prayers" of people around us. God filled the room with angles all in protection of Ben. I hope you feel that now as you are lying there, cause there is an army in defense of you. Love you lots, cuz.I am looking forward to seeing you soon...walking through Auntie Reenie and Uncle Bruce's field!!

  4. Wow Travis - you look amazing after all you have been through!! Thank you so much to Terri for calling to let us know about the blog. I have been totally out of touch with Cathie lately and did not realize you had the surgery.
Brian, Vanessa and I have all read through your blog pages - what a story. We are thinking of you, Cathie, your family and your wonderful support group and wish you all the very best. You have fought hard for this and deserve all good things from now on.
Cathie - I can only imagine the stress you have been through. I am holding a clear and positive image of you all together and happy with this behind you. Call me when you are able.
Love and best wishes from Janet, Brian, Vanessa and Emily.

  5. Travis, I can hardly believe it--YOU only BETTER! I am so happy for you, I can hardly stand it. Aaron and I are adding you to our bedtime prayers with the boys, praying for you to be home quickly and in great shape. (God listens especially well to the prayers of toddlers, just so ya know). I love you alot and am carrying you around in my head and heart all the time these days. I was telling Aaron last night about when you and your dad came to visit KY, the chess gave, and the fingernail polish. Great time! Love you cous'! Tara

  6. Travis,
We are so glad to be able to share in your steady recovery. The photos and comments sent by those around you really help give us a window into your amazing journey. You are ever in our thoughts and prayers. Pearl and I would like to see you but we have postponed our annual trip north for awhile. Our summer has been spent cordinating a u-pick blueberry patch, several buildng projects, and the typical summer chores. One venture, raising Irish setter dogs, has kept us at home. Four years of trying to get some pups has resulted in only one little guy. Who knows , some day you may be able to journey south again. You are always welcome. With love and prayers, Uncle Chan (and Auntie Pearl)
